What is the best vitamin and mineral company, there are so many
out there?
My views on vitamins and minerals are that you get what you pay for. There
are hundreds of companies promoting that their company has all natural
ingredients, but in many cases they are not. There are many cities across
the country pulling out hundreds of pounds of undigested vitamins and
minerals every month. The reason is due to the high metallic content of
these pills. Metallic minerals like oyster shell, carbonates, oxides and
dolomites have the consistency of crushed up rocks, which our bodies were
not designed to digest. It is stated on page 1542 of the Physicians Desk
Reference, "vitamins and minerals in the pill form are only 10% absorbed
by the body".
Chewables, liquids, powders, and capsules increase the absorption rate
between 80-100%. It doesn't take a mathematician to figure out that means
for every $100 you are spending on nutrients, you may be flushing down
the toilet about $90 if you are trying to save money by buying Centrum,
One A Day, or generic forms of supplements. So..... what does the body
need? Dr. Joel Wallach says that you need at least 90 nutrients daily;
60 minerals, 16 vitamins, 12 amino acids, 3 essential fatty acids, and
water, or you will get a disease due to deficiencies. Dr. Wallach, as
a vet, states, "we know how to cure and prevent diseases in animals
with nutrition because there is no healthcare, medicare, etc. for animals".
In many ways we are similar, and doing the right things in life will add
many years onto your life. Our genetic potential is to live 120-140 years.
Read the book or see the movie "The Lost Horizon" by James Hilton
or the remake called "Shangri La" in 1968.
Dr. Li from China is regarded as the oldest man at age 256 who passed
away in 1933, which is documented. Chief Bower from Niger, Africa was
126 and at his death had all his teeth and functions. The 1993 biosphere
experiment sponsored by UCLA medical clinic concluded that these six subjects
living within the dome in Arizona could live 165 years if they continued
to live with clean air, food, water, etc.

Sciatica: The problem that affects many and
doesn't go away overnight!
This last month I have seen quite a few cases of sciatica, which
involve intense leg pain... numbness... tingling or burning which usually
begins in the lower back and may extend along the back of the leg from the
buttocks to the inside of the ankle. When the sciatic nerve becomes inflamed
or traumatized in any way, the result is agonizing because it is usually
a bulging disc, misalignment of bones, jammed facet joint, strained ligament,
or muscle spasms. It may be a pinching of nerves that are between layers
of muscles.
It is important to note that recovery from sciatica is usually slower than
recovery from simple back pain. While relief may be obtained in a short
period of time, it is worth remembering that the severity of the condition
may require longer treatment.
Studies show that after one month, 30% of people with sciatica recover with
conservative management; 50% recover in three months; 70% recover in six
months. The treatment protocol may be daily at first, then 3 times a week,
then twice a week, etc. compared to 80-90% of simple low back pain resolved
within one month.
What to do first? Ice should be used first along with loading dosages of
manganese and minerals. It is important to stretch and start using heat
every other hour for 15 minutes. Get adjusted as often as possible and a
lumbar brace is often helpful.

Making Your Health Your Top Priority: Series Part 2
Tracking Your Health Results:
We’ve all heard that patience is a virtue and yet, it is often
difficult to be patient when you’ve started working towards
your “Health Goals”. It’s actually really easy
to get caught up in wanting to hurry things along—cut to the
chase, and be done with it, now.

When it comes to your health, it’s important to give your
body time to heal.
You are on your way to health. Please note that gradual changes
are usually the most effective. For example, this month please begin
to add more room temperature (not cold) water to your diet.
A good
rule of thumb would be to drink half your body weight in ounces
of purified water. So if you weigh 100 lbs. you need to drink 50
ounces of water. We are over 90%

water. That’s a lot of water. Every organ, muscle, bone, skin,
literally everyfiber of our being needs water for health. However,
most Americans are in survival mode, when it comes to water. Imagine
your organs being like a raisin.When you start drinking water, at
first the water runs off. Reason being the skin is so hard. However
after daily adding proper amounts of water to your diet, your raisin(organs)
will start to look more like grape. Have you ever-watered grass for
the first time? The water rolls off (just like the prune), just like
us. The water rolls off at first. We will urinate more often, however
if you keep drinking the proper amount of water your body will start
absorbing the water, and you will start to urinate in the proper way.
We are giving
a lot of visuals about water because drinking proper amounts of water
is very important. Have you ever seen a pool of water under a waterfall?
How beautiful it looks? Fresh water constantly going in and out of
the pool of water!
Now imagine a stagnated pool of water, |
with
all the muck and guck. No fresh water going in and out. That is what
we do to our bodies if we do not drink the proper about of water.
We believe that if you drink distilled or reverse osmosis water you
should add minerals as the water is considered dead.
